OUR AIMS

Our charity  enables  learning and development that empowers young people aged 16+ and adults to gain additional skills and confidence to enter the labour market.

Our aim is to fund projects that support young people aged 16+ and adults to improve their confidence, build their life skills, qualifications, work experience and training to get jobs.

We are flexible funders who support small and medium-sized charities to undertake projects that meet our aims.  Our funding can be used to cover core costs and/or specific project costs.

All the information you need to complete a funding application is on this website.  We normally launch our annual funding round in January. To start the process we hold a webinar in early January, where you will learn more about our two-stage funding process, our priorities and how to make a targeted application.

Details of the webinar and how to register will be posted on this website in late December. Once you have registered for the webinar you will receive a link to join and details of how to make an application.

Please read carefully the sections on grants and how to apply before you complete the Stage 1 application form, which must be submitted electronically. We operate a grants process against clear criteria on the types of projects we fund, the level of funding that we can offer, eligibility, measurable objectives and what we ask from projects in return.

CABWI is able to fund grants thanks to the work of our operating company which provides vocational qualifications and assessments for Street Works, and the construction and water industries. For more information, please follow the link www.cabwi.co.uk
